Leanne teaches on the FdA Health Care at Bury University Centre. She has 6 years teaching experience across age groups 16+ and has taught on a variety of levels. She has extensive knowledge on the health care sector having studied the Sociology of health whilst at university. She is also heavily involved in internal moderation, planning courses and assessment whilst developing effective teaching & learning strategies; including arranging study visits and guest speakers.
She is also continually developing links with work placement providers and monitoring students’ progress when undertaking vocational experience. She provides pastoral care and guidance for her tutor group and assists the students with their UCAS applications and apprenticeship applications.
